Introducing the Garmin BC40 Wireless Battery Powered Backup Camera! If you’re in need of a
backup camera to help with parking and enjoy keeping things easy peasy, then this is the camera for you! There’s
no
drilling or hardwiring required! Installation is as easy as attaching the license plate mount to your
vehicle and
snapping the camera into place. It’s rugged enough to withstand harsh weather with a waterproof IPX7 rating, so no need to
worry about removing it during storms. The BC40 runs on two double AA batteries that last up to 3 months on average
use,
meaning you can have this out of the box and ready to go in a matter of minutes.

Once mounted and connected to your compatible Garmin nav, a camera button will appear on your nav to toggle between
camera and nav view. The BC40 can also be controlled by your voice, so if you don’t want to take
your eyes off the
road and push the camera button, you can simply say “Show Video”/”Hide Video”. Once the BC40 detects forward
movement, it will automatically switch back to navigation mode. Best of all, you can even switch to live backup view
while driving and use the BC40 as an additional rearview mirror.

any parking concerns.
